Bundling Membership With Conference
Ongoing membership is essential to NMOTA’s mission
NMOTA's Mission is to clearly articulate the distinct value of occupational therapy in helping people achieve and maintain quality of life through occupations that support recovery, rehabilitation, and health. This is especially important when we articulate that value with NM lawmakers. We have more power to advocate for OTs and OTAs in NM when we have active members.
In 2026, the NMOTA Board decided to bundle a 12-month membership with OT and OTA 1-day and full conference tickets. This comes with a reduced bundle price. That means every conference attendee receives the full value of membership, including:
- Connection and communication about issues that affect our profession
- Free CEUs throughout the year at Legislative Day and Free Webinars
- Access to the Members’ Area to post and review job opportunities
- Participation in member opinion polls about important law and policy subjects such as our scope of practice, the compact and DD Waiver reimbursement
- Eligibility to serve on the NMOTA Board, an ALL-volunteer organization led by occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants
- Participation in the only membership advocacy organization for the occupational therapy profession in New Mexico
Membership is included with the OT and OTA 1-Day and Full Conference Ticket bundles.
If you’re already a member, your membership will be extended by 12 months from your current expiration date. For example, if your renewal was scheduled for February 2027, your new expiration date will be February 2028.
If you’d like to opt out of NMOTA membership, you can type "opt out" in the registration questions and you will still receive a discounted price without the NMOTA membership or e-mail the [email protected]. This does not change the conference ticket price.
