Comment period: OTPs in school-based practice until Nov 20

Hello NMOTA School-based practitioners and interested parties, 

There is an upcoming comment period regarding changes in how OTPs, as non-teaching personnel, will be evaluated in their school-based practice. The deadline for public comment is: Public Comment Period | Tuesday, October 20, 2026, to Friday, November 20, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. (MDT) so we need to work quickly on generating an NMOTA public comment, based upon member input. This does not mean that OTPs should not provide their own comments; the more input from OTPs the better!
